Three Services. Each Defined Clearly.

Battery and seal renewal, water resistance testing with reseal, and full chronograph overhaul. Scope, process and pricing are set out below — no estimates that change after the watch is on the bench.

01

How Every Job Starts

The intake process is the same regardless of which service applies.

1

Description

Owner describes what they have noticed. The coordinator identifies the appropriate service.

2

Agreement

Scope and cost are confirmed before the watch goes to the bench. Nothing starts without this step.

3

Bench Work

The service is carried out by the technician assigned to that calibre type, following a set protocol.

4

Docket & Collection

A written record of everything done is produced. The watch and docket are returned together.

02

Battery and Seal Renewal

RM 490  ·  Same day or next working day

Battery replacement and seal renewal service

A short bench visit for quartz pieces. The cell is replaced with a matched type, circuit contacts are cleaned, and gaskets at the caseback, crown and pushers are renewed. The case is checked for thread condition before closing, and a dry pressure test at 3 bar is run before the docket is written up.

Suitable for daily-wear watches and for pieces returning to use after a period of storage. Most owners collect the same day. If a gasket specification requires sourcing, we notify before the watch leaves the counter.

What Is Included

  • Cell type matched to calibre and recorded on docket
  • Gasket set — caseback, crown and pushers renewed
  • Circuit contact cleaning
  • Dry pressure check at 3 bar with reading on docket
  • Technician note on case thread condition and anything observed

Process Steps

  1. 1Caseback opened, old cell and gaskets removed, contacts inspected
  2. 2Matched cell fitted, new gasket set installed
  3. 3Crown tube and pushers re-gasketted
  4. 4Case closed, dry pressure test at 3 bar
  5. 5Docket written, watch ready for collection

Water Resistance Testing and Reseal

RM 1,180  ·  Two to four working days

Water resistance testing and resealing service

A structured check of a case's ability to keep out moisture, followed by corrective work where needed. The piece is tested dry first. Where the result allows, a wet test follows. Readings are recorded at both stages. Crown tube, pusher seats and crystal gasket are inspected; worn parts are replaced before a second confirmation test.

Aimed at owners who swim or work outdoors and want a current picture of their case condition — not the one from when the watch was manufactured. Two to four working days.

What Is Included

  • Dry test readings printed on docket
  • Wet test results where dry reading permits
  • Full gasket renewal — crown, pushers, crystal seat
  • Crystal seat cleaned before re-seating
  • Written note on depth rating as found after the service

Process Steps

  1. 1Dry pressure test — readings recorded
  2. 2Crown tube, pusher seats and crystal gasket inspected
  3. 3Worn gaskets replaced, crystal seat cleaned
  4. 4Wet test where dry result permits
  5. 5Docket compiled with both sets of readings and depth rating note

Chronograph Overhaul

RM 4,180  ·  Four to eight weeks including observation

Chronograph movement overhaul service

A full overhaul for column-wheel and cam-actuated chronograph calibres, where the counting mechanism is stripped alongside the base movement. Levers, hammers, clutch and reset components are inspected for wear, pivots are checked, and the chronograph is set up so hands return cleanly to zero.

Intended for owners of complicated pieces that have started hesitating on start, stop or reset. After reassembly, the piece runs on the bench for several days before the rate chart is finalised. Four to eight weeks including this observation period.

What Is Included

  • Written condition report on intake
  • Itemised parts list with reference codes
  • Six-position rate chart recorded before and after
  • Chronograph function log (start, stop, reset verified)
  • 12-month service coverage note

Process Steps

  1. 1Condition report and pre-service rate chart recorded
  2. 2Base movement stripped, cleaned and inspected
  3. 3Chronograph train — levers, hammers, clutch, reset — inspected and serviced
  4. 4Both systems reassembled and set up
  5. 5Observation period on bench — several days of running
  6. 6Post-service rate chart finalised, docket compiled, 12-month coverage note issued

Standards Shared Across All Services

Practices that apply to every job, regardless of service type.

Scope Agreed Before Work Begins

No work proceeds without written agreement on what will be done and at what cost.

Docket on Every Job

Parts fitted, test readings and technician notes accompany every watch on collection.

Tagged Bench Storage

Each piece is tagged on intake and holds its own bench slot throughout the service period.

Calibre-Matched Parts

Gaskets and cells are matched to the calibre specification — not selected from a universal kit.

One Technician Per Job

The technician who opens the watch is the one who closes it. No handoffs mid-service.

Honest Timeframes

Timeframes are discussed at intake and not revised under pressure. Battery jobs are often same-day.

Not Sure Which Service Your Watch Needs?

Describe the piece and what you have noticed. The coordinator will identify the right bench service before anything is agreed.
